D&D review channels that only exist to vent are inconsequential
Post Body

I just think it's hilarious how these review channels or people with hot takes saying that a rule, spell, race, setting, etc. put out by WOTC is dumb, broken, or useless. Without giving it a chance or seeing the potential it could have. Then when people respond to them with things like, " you can just change the rules or whatever you want to your liking. You don't have to accept what is given and treat it as law."

Then they respond with," but that's more work for me to do and I don't want to do that." If you don't want to change it, then don't. Otherwise it will be work no matter what you do, being a DM is work. Also you are the dungeon master, you can do whatever you want and change the rules however you want. It's your table. I feel like once this argument is proposed then all the review channels that just rip into the source material kind of fall apart.
