It wouldve left us all on a cliffhanger (much like it hasq already, but more) and i was left wanting more of Darkseid. I really really wish barry didnt make it in time and the earth's surface was scorched because i really want to see the anti life equation in action. I also wana know more about the boxes and how they came to be.
My opinion is it should have at least started in the movie. Show the first ship landing on earth. Show darkseid on that ship. Show everyone around the world panicking.
Tbh i just cant wait until the next JL movie. They have to do better. Its already expected of them by how well SC did.
