You should be afraid of the method in which you die, not actually dying in itself.
Post Body

Im not heavily religious, neither am i an extreme atheist. Agnostic is what i would label myself.

Death is inevitable. Theres no way (to date) to stave off death. For the most part, we as a society has accepted the fact that one day will be our last day.

You shouldnt be afraid of death. You'll get the answer to what comes next. Whether its infinite darkness, no sound, no feeling, or its another aspect of life not yet understood, youll find out.

The way in which you die is a justifiable fear. I wouldnt want to die in any violent manner. I fear drowning. Fearing the moment of death is ok. I think we should embrace the idea of death. I think we should understand that its natural. We should encourage meeting death at an older age, but not run away when it presents itself, given the situation is within your ultimate control i.e. terminally ill patient deciding when to hang up the towel.
