I feel like validation from validating others is ok.

I give golds out to people from time to time. Its validation from me that I appreciate your post. Either humorous or serious and well thought out. Comments that hit the nail on the head, sick burns, murders by words, even some shitposts. I give golds out and validate alot of people and it gives me a sense of my own validation.
