Celebrity deaths aren’t inherently worse than other deaths

I recently saw a post asking which celebrity deaths effected you the most…unless you were personal friends with a celebrity, I don’t understand why they effect anyone. They are people, just like any stranger on the street. I’m no more upset with a celebrity death than I am with some rando from across town, or anyone else I don’t know.
