I’m fine with their message, and it’s awesome that these girls are having fun and expressing themselves. The problem mostly arises in the form of nepotism for me. One of their dads produced for Paramore, Bad Religion, and Jimmy Eat World. Then the second they have any sort of attention thrown their way, (i.e. the viral library performance) they immediately get signed. I could get over the nepotism factor if there weren’t at least 200 punk bands made up of people their age in L.A. that are vastly more talented and still play to 10 fucking people.
