A Pokémon game with every single Pokémon would be an absolute mess
Post Body

There are almost 1000 Pokémon (counting regional and Mega). I am willing to bet at least 200 are almost identical copies of the previous generation. No one needs 8 normal-flying types. On top of that the grinding would be insane. Imagine attempting to fish for a Feebas and only catching the other hundred or so random water types. The world would have to be massive to fit all Pokémon so you wouldn’t have to have like 50 per route which probably lowers the quality of the game overall. Not every Pokémon needs to be catchable in the game but transferable would be great.
