House hunting shows are the worst genre in television. I can’t even fathom why someone wants to look at a bunch of regular houses. What is the point. I can barely keep track of the lingo (classic, modern, Swedish) and they throw it around everywhere. What the fuck is going on! But on top of that it’s so ducking boring. Writing this I’m falling asleep just remembering the episodes I’ve seen. At least renovation shows show the process and the choices. If I wanted to look at houses I’d look at Zillow, (something I’ll never do) I don’t want to watch a bunch of real estate. Like maybe it’s not for me but like come on. How boring is your life that houses are interesting to watch. The special ones like tiny house hunting or the houses that are tree houses are cool but so rare. Maybe it’s an age thing but holy shit I just want them off the air.
