Country isn’t the greatest genre ever but it isn’t the worst. It can actually be pretty good if you listen to 90s country. Modern day country I can understand why some people hate but a lot of people can also say that modern day rap is terrible. And yeah it can get tiring to listen to but you can also say the same thing for any other genre. In my opinion, there are some REALLY good love songs that are country. Another pro about country that rap and rock have is that country is usually family friendly, unlike most rap and some rock. I may have a bias towards country because i grew up listening to it but most people have a bias towards one genre of music. I actually have gotten tired of listening to both 90s and modern rap so I’m listening to a little bit of 90s country while writing this. Also some country songs has a REALLY cute and good story behind them, but this mainly applies to 90s country. If you’re wondering why I keep referencing the 90s era of music, it’s because it is, in my opinion, the golden age of music. Well that’s my unpopular opinion so have a great day!
