Eating alone at restaurants should not be considered weird or lonely

I have been going out to eat at restaurants since about middle school. I have heard many people say they would never go to a restaurant alone because it’s weird or they would feel awkward. I actually enjoy eating in peace sometimes and not having to converse with someone while I am eating a meal.
