For one, there isn't a one world government where the distribution of capital is scott free from corruption, taxation, bureaucracy, political intervention. Why? Cause sovereignty, if a corrupt government has sovereignty then donations for food security is not going to help a despot if he doesn't pocket the money himself.
Like, a billionare isn't just going to give money to an impoverished nation because the government will most likely pocket it. Countries with high amounts of financial insecurity are politically unstable which discourages operations within the international community hence poverty. People always forget that poverty is a side effect of political instability, lack of national security and turmoil.
Second, distribution of wealth DOES happen, in the form of investment. The reason why it doesn't happen as often with food security is because food security is unsustainable depending where you are.
If war, terrorism, rebellion or any other kind of civil strife is happening within your country, plus geography, it becomes hard for charity organizations or food security organizations or even investors to operate in that country.
Third, doling out cash for a charity would not mean that all the proceeds would go to charity. Usually, that money goes to the staff to fund operations in order to distribute resources and aid to those in need. Meaning it would be split.
And even then, that is temporary or it is limited. A cause for expansion on operations would mean more money for staff and shipping, essentially doubling cost. Why? Cause you can't distribute stuff by yourself or with dead people who have no income.
To conclude, fuck twitter or anyone who thinks that solving world hunger is as simple as billionares redistributing capital. You'd need a collective effort from a number of governments, private companies, organizations and legal teams and even then, it's still far off.
Btw, I'm Southeast Asian and we subsist on a roughly USD 4,000 GDP per capita, so before SJWs attack me, white male privilege doesn't apply.
