Worcestershire and soy sauce help to make the most perfect marinara sauce.

I was taught at a young age by my great aunt in Chesapeake Bay, Maryland that worcestershire can be used in anything. It's taken me a long time to come around to agreeing with her but I now do. My father-in-law was raised in a Japanese family and imparted with me his joy of soy in 'sghetti. Along with Balsamic vinegar, I now incorporate these liquids into the onion/garlic sautéing process prior to adding the tomato. This umami spaghetti is the best I've had. Try it.
