I hate tanning and like having pale skin
Post Body

When I was in high school I used to use tanning beds every now and then because I had friends that were girls that would tan so I thought I needed to. Now that Iโ€™m older I look at tanning as something that is not only harmful to the skin (skin cancer, melanoma, wrinkles) but also a white-trash trend. Spray tanning is also disgusting. So is tanning lotion.

Now do I think having fair skin is better? Absolutely not! I think people should embrace their skin tone. I have a light olive skin tone (with yellow undertones) and when I tan I donโ€™t like the way I look. If you look at my previous posts you can see my skin tone.

Point Iโ€™m trying to make is I feel more comfortable with my skin the way it naturally is than having to alter it. Too much work imo.
