I loath facebook memes about how people express not going out with their friends and stay inside to watch Netflix OR how people just self-diagnose themselves with social anxiety instead of just admitting you lack social skills or you're just genuinely a boring human. I find people who can strike up a conversation with anyone to be very attractive and it shows wit/intelligence in my opinion. Also people who isolate themselves from society don't realize the negative impacts that can have on mental health. People need people. I don't care what anyone says. It is good to be independent in many aspects (job, money, self-image) but saying "you don't need anyone" and "I love being introverted" makes me boil. I can understand people need alone time here and there but I go insane if I don't talk to someone for days.
