You can’t boycott a movie/TV show made years ago just because in todays society, it is considered politically incorrect and offensive. You have to judge a movie/TV show based off the time it was created and foremost, the story
Post Body

I am currently watching a film called Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. If you have ever watched the movie, you know that it is very politically incorrect based on modern times. Fuck, one part of the plot is a bunch of lumberjacks kidnapping and sexually assaulting several women with happy musical singing played along side.

Yes, it is a very offensive film based on modern times but it is still a great film. Fuck, it won an academy award. It is a great film with some great actors. So what if it is politically incorrect, it tells a nice story. You shouldn’t watch a film based on todays merits as it is not fair as that film was made decades ago. Do you really think people will be influenced by them

That’s just history period. It is not an accurate representation as a historical society as a whole
