American customer service is fake
Post Body
I currently work at a sushi bar as a service 1-2 times a week and I can’t stand it anymore. I hate how I have to be fake friendly with people and at the same time serve them. I also have another job at a hotel which isn’t as bad because it’s more just checking people in and having them sign a paper and making them keys. For some reason with food you have to be this super happy simile up the ass person and I think it’s a dumb concept. I’m not saying servers should be rude but just be natural.
