I get vaping has helped thousands of smokers in the country but I've seen in countless high schools thousands, and probably hundreds of thousands of kids get addicted to e-cigarettes. We already see memes like this, and we know how sad these addicted kids are, but we've let this spiral out of control this whole time with barely any regulation. And we know kids don't give two fucks about following rules, so schools banning them means jack shit.
Some schools already report 1/3 of their kids are vaping. How could anyone who isn't addicted to smoking or vaping see that as a good thing? It's so addictive at this point with those fruity flavors that I don't even think age-restricting them would help at all. Stopping addiction is incredibly difficult and there's no way kids with all the stress of school and planning out their futures which haven't even really started yet have the mental capacity to stop themselves. After all, stress leads people to smoke/vape in the first place.
As for all the people calling for a vaping association, you're fucking disgusting. You don't ban vapes and I promise you, in 10-15 years with a 50% addiction rate with teens in schools, we're going to see vapefree.gov open up and Vaping Awareness campaigns over the addictiveness of vapes.
