At times, long term relationships can feel like Panda mating behavior
Post Body

Don't get me wrong, there are periods where, even after 12 years, we can't get enough of each other. We both love making each other feel good and are still respectively attracted to the other person.

That said, there are other times where sex feels like more of a hassle and we would rather just hang out. This can go on for nearly several weeks. It gets to the point where we become distant and have trouble communicating physically. This will go on until one of us finally makes the conscientious effort to engage the other person sexually. Then we have another wonderful period of doing stuff...until it gets dry again.

Over and over again this happens. I posted this here on unpopularopinions because I usually hear about relationships that take the form of one or the other; either fully sexually engaged or a sad desert waseland of miscommunication and lack of intimacy.

Can any of you relate? Or is this truly uncommon?
