Locking a thread on a heavily upvoted breaking news story is straight up censorship
Post Body
Whenever there is a huge news story it seems like whatever thread there is on the subject gets locked a couple hours after. At best its lazy moderating and at worst its censorship. Let the up/downvote button do its job. When I click on a locked thread and half the top comments are [deleted] it really pisses me off.
