Hating fat people for being fat is no different than hating someone based on their race, religion, or sexual orientation
Post Body

As the title states, hate is hate, no matter how we might try to justify it. It is true that you cannot change the color of your skin or help who you love, and you absolutely are, under most circumstances, in control of your own health, however, I don't think not fitting someone else's definition of healthy is a reasonable justification for hate, concious or unconscious. I would never look at a person and hate them because they don't fit what I think is ideal. Besides, I was taught that hate is a reflection of the "hater's" character and not the "hatee's". Call me a weirdo but I think we need less hate in the world.

Edit: The issues are not comparable. I never said that they were or that they should be. I'm speaking on the action. I think the action deserves analysis. I'm not one to mince words, so hate is hate or dislike is dislike. I don't think that, at their core, there should be varying degrees.
