"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" is the stupidest thing ever said by someone well-respected.

The whole purpose of country and government is to help people. The government should do things to help the populace, we pay them enough anyway! Even Anarcho-Capitalists, who HATE the government, still don't probably agree with the "what you can do for your country" part. Our "country" is just a big patch of dirt we happened to be born in. Nothing about it or the government should be capitulated to.
