For example, I think Anton Yelchinâs unfortunate young death a few years ago or Mac Millerâs just a few weeks back were a lot more impactful to a lot more people than say, an actress who was the main character in a couple movies 50 years ago with nothing new or notable since then. If theyâre still doing stuff like making new songs, starring (or even being in) big movies, then thatâs a bummer because they can no longer release new content for us to enjoy. If theyâre inactive for 10 years in any form of media, I canât bring myself to feel bad or have any emotion at all about it.
Maybe some clarification to why o think this could be unpopular is that Iâve seen some posts on this sub along the lines of âI donât care about celebritiesâ or âI donât care about deaths of famous people,â things of the like. Iâm saying that sometimes it really sucks when an actor or musician is in their prime and they suddenly die and leave us all hanging.
