There are too many American political opinions in this section

While I understand Americans make up the majority of Redditors, this section is clogged with far too many American political posts.

Eveytime a politically related current event happens we get the same reptitive opinions on it every day for weeks, sometimes months.

Some examples that come to the top of.my head are Trump, alt-right/left, "kneeling to the national anthem", Black Americans and racism/white supremacy, etc.

It clogs up the section and makes r/unpopular opinion totally irrelevant for Non-Americans with no background on Americas current events.
