Every time someone mentions a spider on this fucking website there's always dozens of replies like "durr kill it with fire, burn your house down" and it really gets on my nerves. Let me tell you a little something about spiders.

They are the biggest babies in the animal kingdom. I've seen my 1 year old kitten get ready to take on a German shepherd probably dozens of times his size. But spiders? Spiders run away from everything. They'd more likely run away from you than attack you, even the aggressive ones take a bit of prodding before they get ready to attack.

The entire reasoning behind this stupid circlejerk is probably just because "bbb-but...they look SCARY!". No they fucking don't. How the fuck does an insect that small scare you. You're telling me you're the product of millions of years of evolution and taking deer down with your bare hands, and you're afraid of a tiny little spider? Besides a legitimate phobia, that's fucking stupid. If anything, flying insects are more frightening, not to mention annoying. So stop jumping up on a chair whenever you see a daddy long legs crawling around you pansy. If you really don't like them in your home, take them outside, not kill them. The fuck is the point of killing it?

They kill the annoying insects and create beautifully designed, scientifically fascinating webs. You're basically being scared of a marshmallow.
