Is an idiot choice to make and is, in my opinion, the reason the divorce rates are as high as they are and why there are so many broken up families around the world. There are various other reasons for that too but Iām talking about failed marriages due to sheer incompatibility from the get go.
Me and my partner have been together for 16 years from high school. Weāre not married and only just having our first child. I know her inside out and there are no surprises or āred flagsā I donāt know about. I KNOW sheās the one, and thatās why even at 16 years we arenāt in a particular rush to get married because we already are in our minds, weāll get the paper for it soon enough.
I seriously questions someoneās thought process of getting married within a year or two and then being confused on how they ādidnāt know this person at all!, they werenāt the person I thought they were!!ā
Within 1-2 years, do you really know someone at all except for face value? You might think you do, but you donāt. Only time will tell who a person really is, and 1-5 years isnāt enough.
