I was picking my Daughter up from School. And the majority of Students were in pajamas and sweats. The purpose of Schools is to prepare children for adulthood. Allowing pajamas and sweats does not accomplish this. I don't think middle and elementary schools necessarily need this. I also believe that if uniforms are implemented other distractions and disciplinary problems would start to improve.
I literally sit in front of my laptop and work with no pants on from home every week. Pajamas would be a step up. Plus you know there are work pants that are basically sweatpants and no one would even know. Kids should be comfortable in school, it’s kinda hard to focus when you’re required to wear a stuffy uniform. School dress codes also are dumb in general and unfairly target girls.
