Allow all drugs in sports, performance enhancing or otherwise, but require full, honest disclosures of all substances consumed in some period of time prior to game, and players would be suspended for lying about it

This steers sports more towards having athletes become role models of honesty, academic fields like psych would stand to learn a lot, parents would have to have more honest conversations with their kids about role models and substance use, and players would stop being punished for things like pain management, seeking a competitive edge that is necessary to keep up with everyone else, or just plain having a good time once in awhile.

Could there be major problems that come from this? Without a doubt. But it would make usore honest with ourselves.
