I LOVE hot sauce and prefer my food to be spicy at all times. I’m a big fan of Tabasco (breakfast only), El Yucateco, Yellowbird, and Marie Sharp’s. But there’s just something about Tapatio that doesn’t do it for me. It almost tastes like dirt to me and adds a bad flavor to whatever I eat it on. I’ve probably tried it 5 times in the last 5 years and I will eat it if the alternative is no hot sauce but I definitely don’t have any preference for it. I also don’t think I’ve ever eaten Cholula but am willing to try it, is it similar?
