Post Body

Movies and TV series using fictitious names for towns, cities and other places when it is obvious to a lot of people (or at the very least to the locals in the area) that these names are made up is lame and unnecessary, not to mention that it's a waste of time, money and energy. What's the point of doing that? Unless it's for copyright reasons, I don't get it. Obviously using fictitious company names based on an existing company or inventing a whole new company for the purpose of fiction is fine.
