You can’t taste any of the flavors because all you get is the heat and burning of your tongue making you over drink water or any other beverage making you lose the potential of the aftertaste. If there’s steam coming off of it I’m not touching it for at least half an hour while it sits on a counter or table.
What most consider lukewarm I still consider too hot. It needs to be at least room temperature or colder for me to enjoy it. If it feels warm to touch it still might be too hot.
The fact that hot and crispy is a selling point to most people is baffling to me because now you can be sold an item without any flavor and seasoning because you can’t tell with how hot it is. If the food isn’t good cold then it’s not good tasting food.
