I 20yo am a star wars fan since I was a kid. I went to the cinema to watch the new trilogy. I have Disney to watch the shows. I have books on star wars and I consider myself a bit of a nerd. I have seen each movie more than 7 times and I pride myself on knowing the star wars universe well enough to notice plot holes or hidden gems. However, in the series they have the word wars written next to the word star instead of underneath. It bothers me. I liked it better before because you could see the symmetry of those extended lines on the S and R in star and on the S on wars. It gave me that homey feel and I felt exited. In my opinion, if they are in the same franchise they should have the same logo, especially if it is a logo as recognised as this logo. I have met many people saying they don't pay attention to it but it kinda bothers me. Please do not attack me if you disagree. I don't say the new logo is bad, I just prefer the old one mostly for sentimental reasons. Thank you.
