Unpopular take: the metal band Jinjer is extremely overrated. Now I'm NOT saying they're bad. I wouldn't complain if someone put the band on, but I'm definitely not going out of my way to listen to them. I have yet to hear a Jinger song that got stuck in my head. I feel like their entire claim to fame is "look how hot the singer is." And to be fair, she is pretty hot. I'll give them that. Now I know a lot of people might disagree, but ask yourself this... Would Jinjer be ANYWHERE as successful if their singer was an ugly, middle aged fat dude?? We all know that the answer is no. You can deny it all you like but we know it's true. Jinjer is mediocre metal for people who care about eye candy a lot than the quality of the music. If that's how you rate your music, by looks, rather than quality, might I suggest Katy Perry.
