i see a lot of people say that when you believe an idols relationship with someone in their group/the group as a whole is maybe awkward or not as close or they’ve grown apart etc is overanalysing and that fans should stop

i understand the point but at the same time, we as fans consume a lot of kpop content, and when you watch people you get a vibe, a feel from the video. you don’t have to ‘overanalyse’ something to just personally feel a vibe that feels awkward in some way.

for example:

nct127. i know 127 fans get annoyed at comments like this but /personally/ the vibe from a fair amount of 127 content can feel kinda awkward, and they don’t all always feel collectively close for me and that’s not something i personally vibe with. i didn’t overanalyse their friendship and look at say how long they hold eye contact, i just felt it. if you didn’t feel that way or you don’t mind that then good for you. i’m not saying they aren’t friends.

superm is honestly even worse for me in terms of chemistry and feel i get from their content, but i do understand they are new and don’t spend as much time together though.

bts: not anymore, but from some earlier content for me at least i felt an awkward vibe from taehyung and yoongi sometimes. once again, nothing bad, just existed for me. simple as. i couldn’t explain why, it just felt that way watching some videos. (i do think they appear a lot less awkward now though)

but my gist is, i watch content, sometimes the feel i get from the groups is a collective awkwardness/not super closeness and that’s fine- but i didn’t ‘overanalyse’ their relationship to get there. in fact i did quite the opposite, i just watched it and got a vibe.

i don’t 100% know if this is unpopular but i see a lot of ‘overanalysing’ being thrown around when really all at least i’m doing is feeling an aura persay.

edit: i don’t know if some people are taking the 127 comment more personally than i intended? this post isn’t about 127s dynamic, it’s about the concept of supposedly ‘overanalysing’ groups when you’re simply just feeling a vibe which is like a first and second impression
