Moved house and had plusnet to recontract me to the new address, during the following 3 months (which I have been paying monthly), 3 engineers have been sent on 3 different occasions to get it installed, unfortunately at any given time they said they can't do it because the way the black box (in the front of the building) is located with no cable brought in to the flat. After this I had the company which the engineers belong to (not plusnet) calling me asking if i want to cover the costs of having the line installed which would go to the thousand pounds value (floor needs to be lift, cable passed through). The same happened when I tried virgin media, instead they just said once I get the cable at the door they can deal with the rest. The landlord redirect me to BT but i'm afraid I might get the same result...
Appart from this I would like to cancel the contract with plusnet but they would charge me around100 pounds from the cancellation fee from previous contract. I tried to speak to their moving house department and I'm stuck to wait until i have internet (and then they return the money that I've been paying). It sucks because I can keep on paying every month without having the internet and god knows when this will get sorted, if i cancel then it's the fee i get....it seems they cannot care about having a fair service at all I even asked if they could send the money I have paid so far and continue sending the engineer until I have the internet....but it seems they prefer to keep the money and making me wait.
Anyone got any ideas/advise?
