Boarding Priority for Premium Plus

We are booked in P IAH to MUC. IS P Group 1 or Group 2 boarding? I assume it’s group 2 so really no boost over my credit card priority.

We have PREcheck but, out of curiosity, is Premium Plus allowed in the Premier line?

Coming home CDG-FRA-IAH in Business/Polaris so we are good there, but, for future reference, does P get premium access for security or boarding when returning to the US?

We have always flown business/Polaris both ways in the past. First time in P so trying to figure out where we fit in.
