What do you do when you’re airborne and the United app says you’re still boarding?

I had a five hour flight, without a setback video monitor, and since my United app couldn’t tell I was on board, I had no access to entertainment the whole flight. The FA couldn’t help. I turned my phone off and on repeatedly, turned airplane mode off and on, cancelled the app and started it again. There should be a fix for this. United tech….please help.

Ooh, if you get stuck in that weird loop where it takes you to the "trying to connect? Visit unitedwifidotcom to complete your purchase" (even though that's what reflected you there) try clearing your cache or forgetting the network then log in again. That's worked for me.
