I need to fly to the mainland from Guam immediately for a family emergency but I do not have a passport and current prices through Hawaii are astronomically high. Through Japan however, flights are almost 2k cheaper.
Will I need a passport for a connecting flight through Japan?
Will united let me board? It seems Narita offers ways to connect without entering Japan. Will united allow?
I have my birth cert, ss card, and driver's license. I know I should have my passport. I know this. I am having a time right now and if anyone can provide gentle advice it would be greatly appreciated.
