Is there a good way to research unions in my area? (USA)

Post Body
The only unionized workplaces in my area I know about are from my personal experiences or those of people I know; if I don't know anyone who works there, I don't know whether or not they have a union, or what that union's membership density might be (in the South, right to work is big, no closed shops). Aside from trying to look up information about every single company in the area, is there a quicker/easier way to know what other workplaces are unionized?
