If transferring to UniMelb meant an extra year of study, would you still accept?

Post Body

I started a Master of Social Work this year at Federation University Berwick, however was unhappy with the course due to lack of placement opportunities in metro Melbourne. I applied to UniMelb’s MSW for Spring 22 intake, didn’t get it, but was offered Sem 1, 2023 instead - which I accepted.

However, because Fed Uni delivers in block-mode, I’ll only have about 6 units i can credit. Which will essentially add another year of study (just less course load).

I’m a mature-age student & will be 43 when I graduate. So it’s a bit of a bummer.
