Big chance someone has already sung its praises… but this is an underrated masterpiece.
Directed by the Safdie Brothers who excel at making intense, high pressure movies that keep you in a state of unpredictably from the first minute.
Robert Patterson leads the casting with a stone cold performance but I have to say my favourite actor in this particular movie is Buddy Duress who plays Ray. Not an actor with much work to his name but he really stole the show for me.
The score for this movie is epic, “Leaving the park” by Oneothrix Point Never is my personal favourite, matched with excellent imaging in the movie.
This is a 90 minute, edgy, action packed thriller with an ending that will leave you quite shocked.
10/10 would recommend !!!!
