Underrail Train/Fast travel Lore

Post Body

You can pipckpocket train tickets so there's clearly some group managing, maintaining and collecting funds for the train movement. It also seems, from the ticket, that all the trains even separated by tracks are possibly controlled by the same singular group.

Did I miss something? Who controls the trains? I expect some factions like protectorate to mange their own trains but since we can't access those, I'm only talking about the fast travel ones. Also assuming that trains aren't actually just sitting there waiting for passengers but likely have some schedule or cadence perhaps.

Now the idea is that since internet exists and underrail wide comms are possible as seen by the lootable PDA thing with the underrail nnouncement of faceless invasion that we also receive in our own personal SGS computer.

However, with the dangers present throughout, its clear that the train systems still offer an extremely critical component of daily life from trade, general news and everything in between. So becuse of this critical-ness I'm curious why the faction behind the trains aren't more explicitly represented. In expedition we see frequent jet ski travelers and so I assume the trains operate with some frequency with the amount of travel I expect to occur more easily on train rather jetskis
