I’m sure you can tell from the title that I tried to obtain via insta. I’m now getting emails from the “shipping” company about paying because the package was inspected. A bunch of stuff about the law, and then that their lawyers settled the fine so I only owe $500, transferred via crypto. At this point, I know it’s a scam, but am worried about the 1% chance it isn’t. I’ve essentially settled on paying, but have stated any further payment requests, and I go straight to a lawyer. Anyone else experience this?

Thank you all. Yes, I know I was scammed, but had that doubt since the “shipper” was a 3rd party entity. After reading all the responses and speaking with someone personally, I have ceased communication and blocked/deleted, etc. I have lost some money, chock it up to that’s what I get for falling for it.
