How do I keep liquid culture from a syringe that I bought clean if I don't use it all up in one go and want to use it another day but am worried about contamination from the previous use?

I'm guessing sterilization by alchohol/flame but if any of yall haven't used up lc from a syringe all in one go please tell me your method of preventing contamination
