As UB Tekkers, do we believe that our method of mushroom propagation is just as valid and functional as any other? I keep reading in other subreddits things that try to convince me that somehow UB Tek is an inferior or only a beginner's method of approaching the hobby. Somehow I am not a serious mushroom cultivator if I'm not using rye berries and a pressure cooker. Is there anything that we cannot accomplish with UB tek that others can accomplish with their methods? Is there any particular disadvantage in UB tech that needs to be abandoned to have a truly successful grow? I'm a newbie. I'm just trying to get my head on straight about this hobby and the attitudes in it.
