Hi guys, just checked on my first 10 bags I innoculated and noticed alot of contam in 4 of them so, I took them outside opened them up took the mycelium out which didn't look contaminted and buried it.
I cleaned myself down before going back to the rest of the bags, hopefully that's the end of that ðŸ˜
I did try to be as clean as possible with the first batch I injected with spore, but clearly not clean enough :(
For the second batch which is B I used a still air box so fingers crossed they fair a bit better.
As I'm new and don't have access to a pressure cooker yet, I'm thinking maybe a pre sterilised AIO bag would be better for me while I'm learning this art.
I've seen so many people having issues on reddit with certain AIO bags and was wondering which bags you guys have used with success in the past.
I think once I get a few cycles under my belt I'll invest in all the correct equipment and will clad a room out in the house to keep it as sterile as possible.
It's just so disheartening getting around 3 weeks in and losing nearly half of a batch, I'm not going to give up just looking for some advice to help me out.
Thanks guys.
