Post Body

Blue meanie cubes in growbag. About 15 days after entering fruiting conditions. Kept in 22c chamber with grow light.

Following the steps that came with a grow kit I ended up leaving my “cake” upside down. The images and instructions never suggested there was a top - so I figured I would expose more of the white mycelium to the air for a better yield.

(I know, I know, with hindsight I know I’m an idiot!!)

Anyway. My first ever caps started to grow on the bottom of the grow bag as seen in pic 1. Squished against the bag and the shelf they are on.

I’ve flipped it now but I’m wondering what I should do.

Pick and discard? Leave them and hope they rebound? Call it a write off and try for a second flush?

I’m a total newbie feeling my way through so be kind and any advice is greatly appreciated! Xx
