I've been scrolling this page daily always having my mind blown by what you all can accomplish. I'm definitely new and working on my first grow and wanted to give a tip since I have seen this issue a few times.
I have seen some wild holes in still air boxes from not knowing how to cut them.
How to cut still air box holes for your hands
Trace the circle you want to cut. I used the lid to the smallest pot i had.
I then used a soldering iron and melted the hole out. Just one slow circle makes a very smooth hole with no rough edges.
If you do not have a soldering iron.
Cover the area you wish to cut with masking tape, painter tape, duck tape if you must.
Trace the size of the holes using step 1 above or wtvr you have laying around on top of the tape.
Cut the hole slowly with a fine tooth jigsaw, hacksaw blade, or knife. The tape will prevent cracka and splinters if you take your time.
I hope this helps!
Happy growing!
