I think I have recurring balanitis and had phimosis for the first 25 years of my life. Looking for advice

I’ve heard a lot about curing balanitis is keeping it as dry as possible which I do. One way of doing this is by keeping it retracted. I sometimes to do this for an hour or two and it doesn’t seem to cause any problem and may help the appearance a little. However when searching if any other uncut guys do this I see a lot of comments saying that would be really painful because their head is so sensitive. I don’t feel that it’s overly sensitive at all though, so I’m wondering if I’ve got a reduced sensitivity somehow. My foreskin is a little tight, years ago I ahead phimosis and could barely retract, but I fixed it with stretching, though it still is a little tight. When I was first able to retract it was extremely sensitive as it had never been exposed, but the foreskin was also so tight when it was back, but I would just leave it back for hours to desensitise it. The head would go slightly purple because of tightness. Could this have damaged the nerves? Or could the various steroid / anti fungal / moisturiser creams I’ve applied to the head over the years cause damage?

You can see photos on my post history I have some scar tissue from previous flare ups where the foreskin became tight (not from over stretching) Most of the time my foreskin is loose enough to retract easily, though it still has a slight hour glass appearance when I retract when flaccid
