Just started uncharted

Hey guys, just want some opinions. I bought the drake collection and uncharted 4. I started at the first one as that made sense but couldn't get into (feels a bit too dated for my liking) so skipped ahead and just completed number 4 and loved it! Is the second one a big improvement on the first or should I skip that too and try 3 or is it a case I've played the best one and not likely to like the others?
