Post Body

Allright Guys.. As the title says. What’s does parity actually means? Let me first say that I just played with UnRaid the last couple of days. Before that I never knew anything except windows. I wanna build a Node 804 PMS which runs with UnRaid. I already had successfully a test UnRaid OS on my laptop. But what in earth names means parity.. My goal is to put a EVO Plus 250gb nvme in the 804, run the transcodes through RAM and add around 8-10 HDD in the future (not buy at once, but every 3/4 months a 12/14TB disk) So can I have 10hdd with one “partity”? I also have 4 drives/shares on my DS918 I succesfully mounted them with the “unassigned devices plungin”
